Corona, Corona & Corona we hear it everywhere and every time nowadays by our parents, relatives, friends, neighbours and even by our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We get to see this on all Social Media Platforms , News Channels etc. As Today this is the only concern of the World.


  • DEFINITION
 COVID-19 is th disease caused by the new Coronavirus that emerged in China on December, 2019.
  • SYMPTOMS.
COVID-19 Symptoms include cough, fever, Shortness of breath, muscle ache, sore throat, unexplained loss of taste or smell diarrhea & headache. COVID-19 can be severe &  in some cases have caused death.
 The new coronavirus can be spread from Person to Person. It is diagnosed
with a laboratory Test.
  • HISTORY 
Coronavirus disease was first described in 1931, with the first coronavirus.(HCOV-229E) isolated from humans in 1965. Until the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome in late 2002 , only two human coronavirus  (HCOV) cure known - HCOV-229E & HCOV-OC43. 
Once the SARS coronavirus (SARS-Cov) had been identified, two further human coronaviruses were identified. Three group of coronavirus exist , SARS -Cov is an outlier to all 3 groups, although some place it in group 2.

  •  NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF CORONAVIRUS.
  1. Coronavirus outbreak has impacted the business of cargo movement service providers. As per the sources , Per day per vessel has declined by more than 75-80% in dry bulk trade.
  2. It is expected to result in an 8-10% contraction of Indian Auto manufacturing in 2020.
  3. Due to coronavirus outbreak , several garments/textile factories in china have halted operation that in turn affecting the exports of fabric, yarn and other raw materials from India.
  4. Indian developers may face some shortfall of raw materials needed in Solar Panel/cells. 
  5. India's electronic industry may face supply disruption, production, reduction impact on product prices due to heavy dependence on electronics component supply directly or indirectly and local manufacturing.
  6. Adversely impacted the revenue & growth of Indian IT companies.
  7. It will also impact the tourism sector and revenue.
  8. India will have a sizeable impact on the economy mainly on consumption which is the biggest component of GDP.
  9. In India, the three major contributors to GDP namely Private Consumption , Investment &b external Trade will get affected.
  • POSITlVE IMPACTS OF CORONAVIRUS.

This coronavirus lock down has brought family time for people who didn't have time for their family.The current generation didn't knew much about mythology . It is a great initiative by the government to start Ramayan and Mahabharat.
